Taking care of your tattoo
How long do they last?
The tattoo will last for between 2-7 days. The longevity of an Airbrush Tattoo depends on 3 different criteria.
The position of the tattoo.
Because we perspire and constantly shed skin, an Airbrush Tattoo will have a limited lifespan. There are particular areas
where your tattoo will not last very long. These are places where your body generates the most heat. The middle torso area, under your arms, inside your elbows, backs of your knees, neck, palms & feet.
Your type of skin.
If a person has very oily skin, the tattoo will not last as long as a person with dryer skin. Body oils will come through the skin, under the paint, ruining the adhesion properties of the paint.
Personal hygiene and after care.
Don't scrub the tattoo. Keep it dry. Massage baby powder or talcum powder into the tattoo to help it last longer.
